Roosevelt was born from a love of craftsmanship and culture. While traveling through Japan, we were captivated by the country’s dedicated and intrinsic approach to beverages—where every pour, every stir, and every garnish carried intention. This experience planted the seed for what would eventually become our own take on a timeless dive bar.
2017
When we returned home, the idea lingered. We wanted to create a space that blended the precision of Japanese bartending with the raw, unfiltered charm of a true neighborhood dive.
Then after years of planning, searching for the perfect space, and refining our vision, Roosevelt finally took shape.
2018 - 2019
From expertly crafted highballs to ice-cold beers served just right, every element of our menu reflects a commitment to quality without overcomplication. A good dive bar should feel effortless, and that’s exactly what we set out to achieve.
We opened our doors with a simple philosophy: great drinks, no pretense.
2020
Regulars swap stories over whiskey, friends gather in dimly lit booths, and strangers become familiar faces. The energy of the space shifts with the night, but one thing remains constant: everyone is welcome, and the drinks are always good.
Over time, Roosevelt has become more than just a bar—it’s a community.
